Postural Neurology

Posture is not just about pulling your shoulders back and sitting up straight until your mom leaves the room!

The posture system is a complex interplay of vision, the vestibular or balance system and the sensory and motor systems of the brain, the shape and size of the cranium, spine, pelvis and legs as well as emotional congruence.

The parts of the brain that control posture also impact impulse control and mood, so conditions like ADD, ADHD, depression, OCD, anxiety and sensory disorders can be connected to posture. We can also influence these conditions be correcting postural disturbances.

Through simple neurological tests, we can determine what areas are involved in the postural distortion, and how to correct them through a strategic series of neurologically complex exercises that get your brain engaged and committed to transformation.
