How Past Injuries Affect Your Performance
Many people don't realize that issues with strength, coordination, and athletic abilities can be directly linked to previous injuries - particularly concussions and other head or body impacts that may have happened years ago.

Effects of Past Concussions
When working with patients, I frequently discover:
  • Arm, leg, and core muscles that aren't firing properly due to old injuries
  • Balance issues stemming from previous falls or impacts
  • Coordination problems affecting sports performance and daily activities
  • Visual tracking difficulties affecting performance in various activities
  • Reduced endurance and unexplained fatigue during exertion
  • Jaw dysfunction and TMJ issues causing pain, clicking, or restricted movement
  • Headaches that originate from jaw misalignment following head trauma
  • Anxiety, depression, ADHD, memory and cognition issues
  • Sensory processing issues

Jaw and TMJ Connection to Concussions
Many people are surprised to learn that jaw problems often stem from concussion injuries. The impact forces during a concussion can:
  • Disrupt the alignment or the shape of the temporomandibular joint (TMJ)
  • Create tension patterns in the jaw muscles
  • Lead to clicking, popping, or restricted jaw movement
  • Cause referred pain to the head, neck, and shoulders
  • Contribute to headaches, ear pain, and even sinus issues

Immediate Improvements
During assessments and treatments:
  • Muscles that haven't been working properly can be "turned back on" almost instantly
  • Strength can return quickly to previously weak areas
  • Movement patterns can be corrected and optimized
  • Balance and coordination can significantly improve
  • Performance in sports and daily activities can dramatically change
  • Jaw function can be restored, reducing pain and improving mobility
  • Eye tracking can dramatically improve
  • Stunned sensory and motor pathways can be reset

Join Us To Learn About Recovery
In this workshop, I'll demonstrate how these issues can be identified and addressed to help:
  • Improve athletic performance at any level
  • Enhance capabilities for everyday activities
  • Recover function that may have been compromised for years
  • Prevent future injuries through proper functional movement
  • Address jaw pain and dysfunction for better overall comfort
